OUR PROCESS

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Coordinating the design with the construction of a project from the earliest stage is a key to our success.

Careful planning is critical with every project, and to that end, we develop a preliminary estimate based on what our clients tell us they need, as well as what they want.

That estimate includes a scope of work, line-item budgeting, and a schedule that implements and tracks construction progress.

We believe the more work that goes into the planning, the fewer surprises will appear during construction.

CONSTRUCTION

During construction, we keep our clients fully informed at every stage, and track expenses and changes as they occur.

We have a comprehensive and efficient system that flags any potential problems before they occur, and monitors any changes. That includes a continual re-evaluation of all working drawings and specifications to ensure compatibility within all the systems: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural.

We carefully monitor the quality and pace of our vendors and subcontractors to ensure good communication between all the parties involved, as we believe that is the key to a successful project.

POST-CONSTRUCTION

The period just before and after move-in is critical for the maintenance of any home.

We strive to be sure that any follow-up work (punch-list) is completed by the original subcontractors, as they have the greatest familiarity with project requirements.

Our customers are no less important after the completion of a project, than during planning, construction and delivery.

GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE

The past few decades have not only shown the importance of incorporating green and sustainable design into building projects, but in fact have resulted in lowered costs long term.

Making a home energy-efficient and eco-friendly by using sustainable building technologies and materials is more common than ever.

Properly done, sustainable and green practices enable all the components in the building process to work in concert to make a building energy efficient, longer-lasting, and healthier.
